Jonathan Tan

Jon loves learning about the natural and cultural heritage of a project and draws upon them to create an authentic sense of beauty and meaning in his designs. 

Passionate about design and the outdoors, Jon earned his Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from the University of Connecticut.

Jon has over a decade of experience specializing in high-end residential landscape architecture, working on projects throughout the East Coast and Intermountain West. Jon is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and California.  He is a Managing Principal in our studio, carefully managing internal operations and leading complex project teams across the country. 

His depth of construction knowledge and excellent project management skills make him an essential member of Broadbent Design Studio. 

Jon and his wife, Kat, both share a deep appreciation for the natural environment, and they enjoy spending time camping and hiking together. They reside in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
