Allan brings artistic vision, technical savvy, and an affable personality to designing enduring landscapes. His experience in both landscape architecture and complex site construction affords him a unique understanding of the intricacies of the landscape development process.
Broadbent Design Studio was born out of a desire to provide personalized design and superior project management to a growing list of discerning families throughout the country. Allan is licensed to practice in Connecticut, New York, Massachusetts and Utah.
Allan serves as President of the Norwalk Tree Alliance, an organization committed to improving the urban forest of Norwalk through planting programs, education, and advocacy. He is married to Corinne Broadbent, a stage actress and director/choreographer. Corinne and Allan reside in Fairfield County, Connecticut with their two children.
Jon is a registered Landscape Architect who draws upon the natural and cultural heritage of a project to create an authentic sense of beauty and meaning in his landscapes.
Passionate about design and the outdoors, Jon earned his Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from the University of Connecticut, where he graduated magna cum laude and received an ASLA Merit Award for his undergraduate work. Jon has accumulated nearly a decade of experience specializing in high-end residential landscape architecture, working on projects throughout the East Coast and Intermountain West. His depth of construction knowledge and excellent project management skills make him an essential member of Broadbent Design Studio.
Jon and his wife, Katherine, both share a deep appreciation for the natural environment, and they enjoy spending time exploring State and National Parks together. They reside in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
