Allan Broadbent

Allan brings artistic vision, technical savvy, and an affable personality to designing enduring landscapes.  His experience in both landscape architecture and complex site construction affords him a unique understanding of the intricacies of the landscape development process.   

Broadbent Design Studio was born out of a desire to provide personalized design and superior project management to a growing list of discerning families throughout the country.  Allan is licensed to practice in Connecticut, New York, Massachusetts and Utah.

Allan served for 3 years on the board of the Connecticut Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects where he regularly contributed to developing CTASLA's professional education programs.  He also served for 4 years as President of the Norwalk Tree Alliance, an organization committed to improving the urban forest of Norwalk through planting programs, education, and advocacy.  He currently serves on the NTA's Board of Directors.  

Allan is married to Corinne Broadbent, a stage actress and director/choreographer.  Corinne and Allan reside in Fairfield County, Connecticut with their two children.
